The SCEV Fleuriet "Cave of the Little Fountain" is a family winery led by Emmanuel and Jean-Paul Fleuriet. Father and son guarantee the work of vines, complete winemaking and packaging their wines of Sancerre AOC exclusively from their winery.
FLEURIET the family exerts a winemaker for several generations - One of the Caves dates from 1735. The SCEV Fleuriet "Cave of the Little Fountain" is a family winery led by Emmanuel and Jean-Paul Fleuriet. Father and son guarantee the work of vines, complete winemaking and packaging their wines of Sancerre AOC exclusively from their winery.
The family vineyard includes over 12 hectares located mainly in the municipality of Verdigny, the vineyards of Sancerre. Some of the vines are planted on clay and limestone hillsides where some slopes can reach 40%. The other part, on the plateaux of limestone, referred to as «caillottes».
The Caves of the area are located «Chaudoux» common Verdigny-en-Sancerre. They have been completely built over generations by the family Fleuriet. Characteristic of these Caves: Vaulted, stone size and ground to keep an even temperature throughout the year.
A source feeds a fountain that adorns the visit.
Our cellars are open all year round to visit, sharing our winemaker, tasting and sale of our wines of Sancerre AOC. Marketing: special direct sales, restaurants, retailers and Wine cellars.
